Minely Forbes

Graveside service for the late Minely Forbes age 70 years of Johnson bay, South Andros and formerly of Mayaguana will be held at Kemp’s Bay Cemetery, Kemp’s Bay, South Andros on Monday, September 6th, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Jeremiah Duncombe assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel.

Left to celebrate her life and cherish the memories is her husband: Stedman Forbes, two sons: Walt (Karen) and Leabner Forbes; two daughters: Kaywana Forbes-Rahming and Chandalear Forbes (Dominique Dorcelie fiancĂ©); two grandsons: Kavaughn and Ethan Rahming. / Dr. Tia and Tiffany Mackey; thirteen sisters: Doretha, Priscella, Covena and Valarie Murphy, Miriam Murphy-Emmanuel, Gretal (Basil) Collie, Bernestene Adderley, Jacquelyn (Philip) Romer, Francis (Clement) Russell, Alma Rolle, Ella and Melony Murphy, Bricemae Gibson; four brothers: Raymond (Winifred), Charles (Sherrlyn), Raynor (Magealene), and Vanwright Murphy. Twenty-three nieces: Darlicia Emmanuel, Ranique, Raynetha, Tyeice and Charldera Murphy, Phylicia Romer, Atiba Collie, Pastor Alareece Collie, Dr. Alvadale Collie-Thompson (Antoine), Abagail, Francesca and Fayedawn Russell, Kaleisha Rolle, Richae, Richara Bain, LaKera and Jazmyne Brown, Alicia Ferguson, Monique Forbes, Devan and Deshan Beneby, Samantha Russell, and Vanessa Pierre-Farrington. Seventeen nephews: Jermaine Murphy, H’Odari, Ashley and Denzel Collie, Sheridan, Charles Jr, and Ramon Murphy, Jyles Romer, Shavaro and Brentwood Adderley, Mornel Brown, Samuel Rolle, Clement Russell Jr. Anwar Lewis, Kenton Ferguson (Nadene), Rennrick and Solomon Beneby. Three sisters-in-law: Belva Collie (Alvin) Noralee Cartwright and Patsy (Jay) Neal; three brothers-in-law: Lionel Forbes (Lisa); seven grandnieces; two grandnephews; Ten aunts; Dr. Clara McPhee, Sybleane, Francis and Clara McPhee of Belle Glade Florida, Eulease and Mazella Rahming, Elfloy Newry, Ovilda Forbes, Rosanna Strachan, Minerva McKenzie. Six uncles: Evangelist McPhee, Norward, Edmund and Ezra Rahming, Randollian Newry and Junior McKenzie. Other relatives including Nesbit Higgins and family, the children of Evangelist McPhee, the children of the late Celestina Gibson, Sarah Collie, Mildred Williamson, Amos McPhee, Freeman McPhee, Ophesian Brown, Edna Deveaux, Viola Mills and Joel Mcphee. Rev. Ellison Greenslade and family, Larry Brown and family, Doreen Thompson and family, Elgin Rahming, Elder Charles and Ena Miller, Elder Trenton and Sis. Viewing will be held in the “Serenity Suite” at Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Solider Road on Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
