The Cove reopens with ultra-luxe offering

Atlantis, Paradise Island announced in a statement yesterday that is has opened its luxury hotel The Cove and is advertising a posh $150,000 package that includes private jet service to New Providence, a day trip to Kamalame Cay by seaplane and an eight-course dinner by Michelin Star Chef José Andrés’ at his restaurant, Fish.

Atlantis is also offering guests to The Cove their first night free if they book a stay between February 28 – November 30, 2021, with a minimum stay of four nights.

And the resort plans to unveil in May its new 22nd-floor club lounge, beachfront cabana upgrades and a new lobby.

Atlantis President and Managing Director Audrey Oswell said in the statement that the resort looks forward to welcoming guests back to The Cove.

“Our guests can relax, recharge and reconnect while experiencing the warmth of our Bahamian hospitality,” Oswell said.

“There isn’t a better place than our white sand beaches, all-suite guest rooms with stunning ocean views and the adults-only Cove pool with private day beds and beachside cabanas.”

The Cove’s ‘Ultra-Luxe Bahamian Getaway’ for $150,000 is in partnership with Advent Jets and Kamalame Cay and can cater to groups of up to eight people, who will be able to fly by private jet from select cities directly to Lynden Pindling International Airport.

“The getaway includes a five-night stay in The Cove’s well-appointed Sapphire Suite, whose design was inspired by its breathtaking ocean and beach views,” Atlantis’ statement noted.

“A deluxe beachside cabana reserved at The Cove Pool daily and a special tour with Bahamian artist-in-residence Antonius Roberts at his beachside Sacred Space art installation will also be a part of the package.

“An eight-course dinner at Michelin Star Chef José Andrés’ Fish restaurant, with a customized menu and aprons embroidered with guests’ names; and an omakase and sake experience at Nobu’s exclusive Sake Room, will also be included.

“Guests will then fly by seaplane to discover and spend the day at Kamalame Cay, a private oceanfront sanctuary with boundless open-air experiences, where guests can relax and rejuvenate at the beach or explore the latest culinary pursuits. Throughout the stay, a private butler will attend to every need or request.

“All guests will receive a personalized and dated autographed cook book by José Andrés and Nobu Matsuhisa, nightly turndown amenities, surprises and delights and a parting gift.”

According to Atlantis, its Aquaventure waterpark, five miles of beaches, dining, spa, golf and shopping are all available to guests.

The company noted it has put together a comprehensive approach to protecting all guests and team members, offering complimentary COVID-19 rapid antigen tests for up to two guests per room.
