The Ministry of Health reported 30 additional COVID-19 cases yesterday.
Twenty-three cases were reported on New Providence, three on Long Island, three on Exuma and one on Andros.
So far, 2,506 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in The Bahamas.
Fifty-six people have died from the virus.
The most recent death was a 53-year-old woman who lived on New Providence.
She died on September 4, according to the ministry.
There have been seven non-COVID-related deaths since March.
Health officials also reported 16 additional recoveries.
Nine hundred and sixty-four people have recovered from COVID-19 so far.
