A man was taken to hospital for medical attention after he allegedly tried to commit suicide at a home in Eight Mile Rock, Grand Bahama early Thursday morning, police said.
Police were called to a residence at Graveyard Corner shortly after midnight.
The man, 29, was found with apparent abrasions on his neck, police said.
Officers also retrieved a rope that was hanging from a tree.
Police said investigations into this matter continue.
