Prison inspector accused of drug possession with intent to supply

A prison inspector accused of drug possession with intent to supply was remanded to prison on Friday.

Kevan Seymour was charged in the Magistrate’s Court along with Jamaican Suzette Wright-Smith, 47, and her son Phillip Smith, 19.

It is alleged they were found in possession of 13 ounces of marijuana on May 15. The drugs were reportedly found in a residence off Firetrail Road and have a street value of $1,950.

They denied the charge. The case was adjourned until September 1st.
