The Ministry of Health and Wellness today confirmed an additional 24 COVID deaths between September 10 and October 8.
Of the deaths, 10 occurred in September and 14 in October.
The victims ranged in age from 26 to 91.
Thirteen of the victims were men and eleven were women.
Nineteen of the victims were from New Providence, two from Long Island, two from Inagua and one from Grand Bahama.
The latest deaths bring the confirmed toll in The Bahamas to 632. An additional 123 people have also been confirmed to have died with COVID, but not because of it.
Additionally, there are 53 deaths still under investigation.
The Bahamas confirmed 64 new COVID-19 cases yesterday and 47 the day before.
Up to Thursday, 127 cases were hospitalized.
