A three-year-old boy died in hospital the morning after he was pulled from the bottom of a swimming pool on Tuesday night on Bimini, police said.
The child was discovered in a pool at a hotel property on the island shortly after 9 p.m.
“The child was rushed to the Bimini clinic and later airlifted to New Providence for further medical attention at the Princess Margaret Hospital,” police said.
However, the boy died on Wednesday morning.
Police said investigations into this matter continues.
