A 32-year-old man yesterday denied receiving almost $1 million in diamond jewelry that was stolen during a robbery at Park Lane Jewelers.
Corradon Cockburn is accused of receiving jewelry valued at $951,914.60 on April 4, 2018. Cockburn has been denied bail and is scheduled to be tried before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt on May 12.
His lawyer, Alex Dorsett, said he planned to apply for emergency bail because Cockburn experienced abdominal pain due to a mass in his intestine.
