There were four armed robberies on New Providence in a two-day span over the weekend, police said.
According to police, the first incident took place just after 6 a.m. on Friday when three men armed with guns forced their way into a home on Lee Street, off Alexander Boulevard.
They took cash and a white Toyota Corolla with the license plate number AT2096.
In the second incident, shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday, a man was sitting in a vehicle on Eneas Avenue in Stapledon Gardens, when he was approached by two armed men who robbed him of a wallet, an iPhone and a green Nissan Note with the license plate number AC1885.
Police said the robbers drove the man to Tonique Williams-Darling Highway east of the New Providence Landfill, where he was forced out of the vehicle.
The third incident occurred just after 11 p.m. on Saturday in Tropical Gardens. According to police, a man and woman were sitting in their car when two armed men approached them and robbed them of cash and a black Nissan Note with the license plate number AS0681.
In the fourth incident, police said a man was walking on Dowdeswell Street just before midnight on Saturday when he was approached by a man with a gun who robbed him of cash and jewelry before running away.
