Restaurants are now allowed to operate for an additional hour, according to the updated emergency powers order signed by Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis on Friday.
Under the Emergency Powers (COVID-19 Pandemic)(Amendment)(No. 2) Order 2020, restaurants will be allowed to operate from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Restaurants may resume indoor dining at 50 percent occupancy with a minimum of 30 square feet per person.
Staff are required to sanitize tables, chairs and other equipment after each use.
Patrons will be required to wear masks when entering or exiting.
Restaurants that are unable to operate in accordance with the order are only allowed to conduct outdoor dining, delivery, take-out or curbside pickup.
Restaurants and vendors on Arawak Cay are still prohibited from operating indoor dining services.
