Three women have tested positive for COVID-19 on New Providence, the Ministry of Health confirmed on Saturday evening.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in The Bahamas to 58 – 49 on New Providence, seven on Grand Bahama, one on Cat Cay and one on Bimini.
The ministry said the patients include a 22-year-old, a 37-year-old and a 70-year-old. They are all in isolation at home.
“Investigations of these new cases are ongoing, and health officials continue to follow the condition of the other current COVID-19 positive cases,” the ministry said in a statement.
Just under 900 people remain in quarantine.
