Two men accused of armed robbery have been remanded to prison.
John Sands, 21, and Tamaine Lewis, 22, appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt on two counts of armed robbery,
Prosecutors say on November 14 at Market Street the men robbed Jamel Fernander at gunpoint on of $150, 20 iPhones and a red Toyota Passo.
At the same time and place, the men allegedly robbed Lloydesha Stuart of a $150 watch and $370 cash.
Sands and Lewis were not required to enter pleas to the charges as they will face trial in the Supreme Court.
Prosecutors plan to fast-track the matter to the Supreme Court by presenting a voluntary bill of indictment on November 20.
The suspects were remanded to prison; however, they can apply for bail before a judge in the Supreme Court.
