A child accompanying a woman was injured in a drive-by shooting in Elizabeth Estates around 10 a.m. yesterday.
They had just arrived at a home on Nauri Crest when a black Nissan Cube pulled up beside them and the occupants opened fire before speeding off, police reported.
The woman and child were both listed in stable condition yesterday, and police confirmed two suspects were detained in hospital in relation to the incident.
The age of the child was not disclosed.
