The Pacesetters took down St. Agnes by eight wickets in the Bahamas Cricket Association’s (BCA) Twenty-Twenty (T20) league action at Haynes Oval over the weekend.
Leading the way for the Pacesetters was opening batsman and Man of the Match Mark Levi, who finished with 61 runs not out.
Winning the toss was St. Agnes and they decided to bat first. They scored 141 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 16 overs.
Opening batsmen Turan Brown and Earl Thomas Jr. got them off to a good start with Brown scoring most of the runs.
The Pacesetters’ Jeremy Holland gave his team a break in the seventh over when he bowled Brown for 41 runs. That opening partnership amassed 64 runs.
Holland struck again two overs later; this time he got two victims. St. Agnes was at 87 runs for three wickets at that point.
It was a good partnership between Marcus Bowe and Earl Thomas as they chipped in 34 runs before Bowe was out for 29 runs.
With the score on 121 runs for four wickets after 12 overs, St. Agnes stumbled to finish with 20 runs with the loss of three wickets in the remaining four overs.

After hitting two fours, Barry was out in the third over for 10 runs. The Pacesetters had 18 runs after three overs.
Ricardo Patton came in and replaced Barry. He picked up the batting, scoring one six and two fours before being bowled by the elder Thomas with the score on 53 runs for two wickets. Patton finished with 16 runs.
