Former marine acquitted of Govt House murder

A jury today unanimously acquitted Able Seaman Jevon Seymour of the murder of Petty Officer Percival Perpall and the attempted murders of Marine Seamen Ellis Rahming and Calvin Hanna at Government House on April 28, 2019.

Seymour, who was on bail, embraced his attorney Murrio Ducille after the verdict.

The all-woman jury deliberated for just over an hour before clearing Seymour of all charges.
