Funeral service for William Wilfred Bernard “Unk” Allen, 78 yrs., a resident of Fleming Street & formerly of Port Howe, Cat Island, will be held at Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road, on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Patrick V. Smith.
He is survived by his 2 daughters: Eleanor Allen & Yvonne Skipping Allen; 1 adopted daughter: Tamara Weise; 2 sons: Keith Nacka Allen & Bernard Allen; 1 adopted son: Keno Taylor; sisters: Minister Eleanor H. Allen, Missionary Lucy Mae Wright, Mrs. Veronica Bow of Fl., Mrs. Virginia Mackey O’Brien, Mrs. Venetta Major & Denise Curtis; brothers: Mr. Anderson Allen of Philadelphia, Mr. Cecil Allen & Allington Allen both of Freeport, Grand Bahama, and Michael & Tyrone Allen of Cat Island; grandchildren: Renaldo Campbell, Raquel, Raven & Ricara Skippings, Shaquana, Kristyl, Nataliah and Garvin Allen; great grandson: Glenar’je Campbell; nieces: Jenesta Hall Orlando, Jeanann Newbold, Bridgette Moss, Dedrie Adderley, Mildred Hanna, Annika, Faith and Magan Major, Dikeisha Cox, Andira Curtis, Deneisha and Deontanique Seymour, Dekera and Diamond Hanna, Kaylyn, Catalaya and Branell Allen, Maria Allen, Johnette Strachan, Kravantae Neely and Dionne Suarez; nephews: 3604 Aniko Major, Anthony, Jeremy, Keith Allen, PC4149 Torriano (Nakishna) Curtis, Davando Davis, Ashondi Jr., Ashton Bethel, Dennie, Donnie and Trevor Wright, Keith Allen, Anthony, Roscoe, Degrey and Gary Allen, Philip, Stephen and O’neil Greene and Daks Knowles; grandnieces: Amethyst Ford, Nia and Kiarjae Curtis and Donnataeya Hanna; grand nephews: Bradley Cartwright & Khamaaj Rose; in laws: Alexandra Campbell & Gladstone Major & a host of other relatives & friends too numerous to mention.
Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 10-5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
