A man accused of stealing a Yamaha scooter was denied bail.
Laudel Ferguson, 21, of Apshalt Street, is accused of stealing the bike, worth $2,441.60 from Pedro Hield, between July 17 and 18.
Ferguson faced the alternative charge of receiving the stolen bike and trespassing on Hield’s premises at his arraignment before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
Ferguson pleaded not guilty.
He returns to court for trial on October 6.
