The Bahamas recorded 150 additional cases of COVID-19 on Monday, according to the Ministry of Health.
Eighty-one of the cases were recorded on New Providence. Andros and Abaco recorded one case each and the locations of the remaining 67 cases are still pending.
The ministry said 59 percent of the new patients are female, 40 percent are male and the sex of one percent is unknown.
Up to yesterday, there were 119 hospitalized cases, 11 of which were in the intensive care unit.
The Bahamas also recorded an additional COVID-19 death.
A 64-year-old New Providence woman died on October 19, the ministry said.
The COVID-19 death toll is now 124 and 14 deaths remain under investigation.
There are also 24 non-COVID-19 deaths.
