Canadian fashion executive and Lyford Cay homeowner Peter Nygard was indicted in New York today on sex trafficking and racketeering offenses.
In a statement, the US Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York said the charges stem from “a decades-long pattern of criminal conduct involving at least dozens of victims in the United States, the Bahamas, and Canada, among other locations”.
Nygard was arrested on Monday in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada by Canadian authorities after the US requested Canada issue an arrest warrant.
