Families of victim and suspects in the murder of Jeffrey Fowler clashed outside a courtroom yesterday.
Inside, brothers Johnathon and Jonavan Armbrister, both 22, were charged with the May 5 murder of Fowler.
The brothers were not required to enter a plea to the allegation when they appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
They are represented by Attorney Jomo Campbell and return to court on July 30 to receive a voluntary bill of indictment, which will fast-track the case to the Supreme Court.
Forbes ordered them held without bail at the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
Police said that Fowler was killed on McQuay Street, off Nassau Street.
Outside court, members of the Armbrister and Fowler families shouted at each other.
One woman had to be restrained.
