The Ministry of Health confirmed another case of COVID-19 in New Providence.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in The Bahamas to 42.
The patient, a 53-year-old man, has been hospitalized, according to a statement from the ministry.
There are nearly 500 people in quarantine.
